A major fire has broken out at a waste site on the edge of Peterborough.
Four fire crews and a water carrier are currently at the scene of the fire in Eyebury Road,

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service issued a warning to many homes in the areas to be on alert.

“If you live between the Eye and North Bank/Flag Fen areas of Peterborough, please keep doors and windows closed,” said a spokesperson.
“Smoke from a fire at a waste site in Eyebury Road is travelling in that direction.
“Four fire engines and a water carrier are currently at the scene.”
