A major police operation in Peterborough has resulted in five people being charged – three of them for kidnap.
A police force statement today confirmed that the five have been charged in connection with a series of “serious assaults on two men and a serious assault and kidnap of another man”.
Exclusive photos by CambsNews shows police and forensic teams at a house in Fen View, Stanground, Peterborough, which is connected with the alleged assaults and kidnap.
“CID and uniform officers have been guarding a property in Fen View all week,” said a neighbour.
“On one occasions there were multiple teams of forensics in the property – they have been there since January 6.”
The incidents are alleged to have happened in November 2022 and on 3 and 4 January 2023 in Orton Goldhay, Peterborough.
The three victims, who are in their 30s and 40s, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.
William Black, 44, of no fixed abode has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a Class B controlled drug.
Lewis King, 42, of Hinchcliffe Road, Peterborough, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
They both appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on 6 January and are now on remand awaiting a crown court date.
Cameron Black, 19, Billy Black, 21, both of no fixed abode, and Dieter Sayers, 18, also of no fixed abode, have all been charged with kidnap and causing grievous bodily harm.
