“Crews from March, Chatteris, Manea and Stanground, including our turntable aerial ladder, are at the scene working hard to tackle the fire and prevent it from spreading.”
People were urged to stay away from the area to enable firefighters to tackle the fire.

“Those living in the area should keep their windows closed if they’re being impacted by the smoke.
By 9.30pm fire crews were able to leave the scene.
“We will be carrying out an investigation tomorrow to try and establish the cause of the fire,” said the spokesperson.
“Thank you to locals for your patience while we dealt with this incident.”
