A burst pipe flooded part of Wisbech last night, leaving at least one business forced to close today.
The Jolly Fryer at North End has been keeping customers informed but are hopeful it will be back to business as normal by Saturday.

“As many of you may already be aware, a mains water pipe has burst in Wisbech,” the shop posted on Facebook.
“We currently have no water. We do not have an estimated time frame for this to be back on.
“At the moment we are anticipating a later than normal opening. We will keep you updated when we have anymore updates

A later post said: “We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope to be open as normal, tomorrow (Saturday 10th Dec).
