A drink driver – more than four times over the legal limit – crashed into trees in a Cambridgeshire village last night. Emergency workers – including the East of England Ambulance Service – and Cambridgeshire fire and rescue were called.
“The driver was taken to hospital with minor inquires and was later discharged,” said a Cambridgeshire police spokesperson.
“Enquiries continue into this matter once the driver’s specimen has been analysed. “
The crash happened in March Road, Wimblington.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after providing a breath test of 153 – the legal limit being 35.
