Fire damaged part of the roof of a village pub near Wisbech. Crews – including an appliance from Norfolk – helped tackle the blaze at the Rising Sun public house at Leverington near Wisbech.
The extent of the damage is not yet known.
A statement from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue this morning said: “Residents may be waking up to low water pressure this morning as a result of a damaged water main.
Fire crews at the Rising Sun public house, Leverington near Wisbech.“This was discovered as firefighters tackled a fire at the Rising Sun pub in Dowgate.
“Anglian Water are on the scene, but it is expected to be a few hours before the leak is fixed.”
