A man’s body has been discovered by police at a house in Godmanchester. Cambridgeshire police said they were called to the house in West Street, Godmanchester near Huntingdon shortly after noon yesterday.
A spokesperson said they attended following “reports of concern for the welfare of a man.
“Officers attended and the body of a man was discovered inside the house”.
The spokesperson said the death is not believed to be suspicious “but enquiries continue, and a file will be passed to the coroner”
Neighbours say police and forensics have been at the house since the discovery of the body.
