Ministers accused of ‘knee jerk’ reaction to South Cambs 4-day week

Local government minister Lee Rowley (pictured) has written to South Cambridgeshire District Council calling for a halt to the “experiment” of a reduced working week. Public sector union UNISON accused him of rejecting the trial out of hand because of a few “close-minded grumblings”.
