That’s a wrap (up warm) as Wisbech stages Christmas fair

Near freezing temperatures failed to deter the crowds at this year’s Christmas Market in Wisbech.

Thousands braved the cold to join the day that is one of a number of events organised by Fenland District Council and local volunteers.

ayor Cllr Susan Wallwork, who opened the market, said “It was a super ‘Christmassy’ occasions.

“And an absolute delight to watch St Peter’s school and Orchards school sing their songs to start the day off on the right foot.”

The selection of photos is provided by ‘Wisbech Tweet’ who, with her 4,600 followers on Facebook, accentuates the many positives of the town.
