Three men armed with baseball bats forced their way into a Cambridgeshire home to demand money, took the victim’s phone, and pushed her to the ground. Police have released footage and are appealing for information following the robbery in Longstanton.
At about 6pm on Monday (18 December) three men entered a property in Station Road, Longstanton near Cambridge, armed with baseball bats.
They took the victim’s phone and pushed her to the ground before demanding money.
The victim, a woman in her 50s, managed to shout for help and the trio left via fields behind the property.
Detective Constable Sarah Longbottom, who is investigating, said: “This was an extremely frightening experience for those involved and I’m keen to hear from anyone who has information about the three individuals pictured in the CCTV footage.
“We’d particularly like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage from Northstowe towards Station Road or Station Road into Willingham between 5pm and 6.30pm on Monday. Also, anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles in the area of Stanton Mereway.”
